The Carrie Diaries - Candice Bushnell
The Carrie Diaries written by Candace Bushnell follows a 17 year old Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of high school before moving to New York City.
The story goes right back to the beginning with Carrie deciding what she wants to do after senior year - being a writer or going to Brown University.
I recommend this to book any Sex and City fans as I found I could not put this book down wanting to find out what happens next.
Read this book? Let me know what you think and if you will be reading the next book in the series?

Recommended by a Family Friend

Nineteen Minutes - Jodi Picoult
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult is set in a small town where a horrible school shooting occurs.
The story unfolds throughout time with flashbacks to before the horrible shooting and the consequences of the shooting that kills 10 people throughout the school.
If you have read Jodi Picoult's book The Pact or Salem Falls you will notice the character Jordan McAfee has returned as the lawyer representing Peter
I don't want to give away too much of the book as I found it a very interesting not knowing too much about the storyline.
Have you read this book? Let me know what you think?

Sweet Little Book Reviews
I love to read and so do a lot of other people I know and I always get asked to recommend books!
So I have decided to write a blog in conjunction with my craft blog www.sweetlilpretties.blogspot.com to show you what I'm reading and recommend books.
I would love to turn this into a book club or guest book recommendations if anyone is interested.
Enjoy
